About Swetha Rajasekaran

I have over 9 years of wet-lab experience in the field of molecular biology with a focus on rare human diseases. Currently, I am a Scientist at Alltrna, a tRNA platform company at Boston. I received my doctorate in Molecular Genetics from the Ohio State University. My graduate training focused on understanding RNA biology and regulation in rare, pediatric cancers by employing many high-throughput techniques. In my position as an undergraduate researcher, I worked on the chemokine-based molecular mechanisms underlying metastasis in breast cancer. Competencies: RNA binding proteins, RNA sequencing (including small RNA and eCLIP, m6A libraries), CRISPR techniques, FACS, human patient samples, Confocal Microscopy, in vivo models.
