About Sydnee Ettelson

My education the last 6 years has incorporated gaining knowledge about mental health. I have obtained a master's degree in professional counseling, and with this knowledge I have been able to achieve an early career in the mental health field. I spent three years working as a house manager for unlicensed properties and an AFH. I supervised 7-8 staff members and provided care for up to 28 clients. In the last year I have moved into more of a clinical role where I provide therapy, case management, skills training, medication management, and care coordination. Through these last 4-5 years in the community mental health field I have also had the support in learning macro level advocacy and knowledge around Washington County's database. With the use of HMIS I have learned how to update client profiles, run reports, complete coordinated entries with community connect assessments, and input referrals for housing vouchers.
