About Sydney Day

As a native Rhode Islander, I'm so proud to say that I now serve my community in central RI as an associate veterinarian with a busy general practice. I always knew that I would love general practice for its daily mix of medicine, surgery, and preventative care, and the relationships I'm able to build with my patients and clients that bring me so much joy. I have special interests in ultrasound, behavior, surgery (including dentistry), anesthesia & analgesia. I have long aspired to be a part of advancing the profession in positive ways, and have my eyes set on practice ownership or other leadership in the future. Making my own way through vet school, I learned that my background of education in the fine arts and illustration could fill a big gap in the study material we have available to us as students. Starting while in vet school, I now create visual study guides that make the information easier to take in, connect together, and reference back to while we continue to grow into the best vets and vet techs we can be.
