About Sydney Grajkowski

Sydney Grajkowski is a junior at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, double majoring in Political Science and Journalism, Advertising, and Media Studies with a concentration in Public Relations and minoring in International Politics and Foreign Policy. Sydney is currently a legislative intern for the Wisconsin State Assembly in the Office of Representative Vincent Miresse. She recently interned with the U.S. Department of State in the Bureau of Political-Military Affairs, Office of Foreign Policy Advisors (PM/POLAD), supporting foreign policy initiatives and defense diplomacy. Sydney’s background includes working for CNN during the Republican and Democratic National Conventions, participating in a United Nations research program examining leadership styles and their role in conflict, and completing a digital communications internship with UW-Milwaukee's Marketing and Communications department, where she managed their professional social media accounts and web communications. On campus, she serves as the President of the College Democrats at UW-Milwaukee. Sydney organizes student engagement initiatives, leads voter outreach, and supports local and national political campaigns.
