Background

About Sydney H.

I am a current Master of Biomedical Sciences student at Texas A&M University with the ultimate goal of attending medical school after the completion of my graduate degree. Outside of my graduate coursework, I maintain full-time employment in clinical research for the Dog Aging Project (DAP) where I have worked since 2021. The DAP is a long-term longitudinal study of aging in tens of thousands of companion dogs. In my role as a logistics project manager, I specialize in study medication management of our clinical trial cohort, the Trial of Rapamycin in Aging Dogs (TRIAD). I have also authored multiple research projects for the DAP including multiple journal articles and academic posters. As a determined student and professional, I am passionate about furthering my clinical and professional skills through hands-on experience in healthcare and research. My mission in becoming a physician is to provide the highest quality scientific expertise while serving first as a dedicated patient advocate. I am open to new connections and opportunities to collaborate on projects that align with my mission of furthering medical research and gaining hands-on healthcare experience. Feel free to reach out, and let's start a conversation!
