As a licensed attorney with over 15 years of experience, I have a broad legal background encompassing criminal defense, insurance law, family law, mediation, and more. Currently, I serve as a Staff Attorney at the Texas Department of Insurance, handling enforcement cases, drafting pleadings, negotiating settlements, and litigating at the State Office of Administrative Hearings (SOAH). Previously, I managed my own law practice specializing in criminal defense, juvenile law, guardianships, probate, and mental health. I also served as an Assistant District Attorney at the Hays County Criminal District Attorney’s Office, where I prosecuted various cases, supervised teams, and acted as a liaison between the office and local judges. I am a candidate for Credentialed Mediator with the Texas Mediator Credentialing Association and have a passion for alternative dispute resolution. My diverse experience has helped me build strong negotiation and litigation skills, focused on achieving the best outcomes for clients.
