I recently obtained my doctorate from the University of Guelph (12/22) where my main focus was investigating how pharmacologically stimulating or antagonizing a class of GPCRs known as neuropeptide Y receptors affects hypoxic tumour (1% O2 or less) cancer progression. Previous to that I obtained a dual specialization honours from Queen's University in Biology-Psychology and a BA general in French Literature and Language.
