About Sydney Pingel

My passion for social work stems from my educational background and my previous work experiences. I hold a master's degree and a bachelor's degree in social work from the University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee, with an emphasis on behavioral and mental health. I currently hold a position at Charlie Health working in their Clinical Admissions Department. Prior, before working for DFPS as an investigator for CPS, I worked as a mitigation specialist for the Federal Defender Services of Wisconsin, Inc, where I conducted mitigation investigation and produced bio-psychosocial histories for indigent clients. I also worked as a career advancement coach for Lead2Change Inc, where I assisted students with career-related personal development. These positions have enabled me to gain an all-encompassing understanding of the diverse needs and challenges of our communities, and to apply my knowledge in advocacy, counseling, social science research, and holistic defense to better serve them.
