Public relations executive with 8+ years of experience across various industries including tech, health, mining, workforce development and tourism. My current role as Director of Communications for DIGITAL, Canada's Global Innovation Cluster for digital technologies, includes responsibility for their strategic communications activities and promoting the importance of innovation to the Canadian economy. As an independent not-for-profit, DIGITAL co-invests alongside Canadian industry to advance digital innovations that tackle some of our world's biggest challenges and capture Canada's largest economic opportunities. We currently manage an investment portfolio of $786M across 190 projects that convene over 935 organizations across Canada (March 2025). My tenure as Director of Marketing for one of British Columbia's largest tourism marketing programs included proven results in significantly raising the profile of BC's Central Interior and Central Coast as demonstrated by increased tourism revenues and program results. This tenure included managing the destination's reputation and developing specialized business resiliency programs throughout COVID-19 and natural disasters. I was additionally proud to have the confidence of my peers by sitting on the provincial Crown Corporation's Marketing Committee; providing regional evaluation to the Ministry of Tourism, Arts, Culture & Sport to assist with COVID-19 recovery efforts; and speaking and moderating at numerous industry events. I'm a strong believer in not changing yourself for the world, but using your talents and ambition to shape the world you want to live in. I consider it an incredible honour to volunteer my time as a mentor and coach to high school and post-secondary students; sit as Regional Director for the Cariboo & North for the BC SPCA Board of Directors; and as a Board Member for the Prince George Chamber of Commerce. I was also fortunate to receive distinction as a Top Figure Under 40 from the Prince George Chamber of Commerce in 2023 as one of 12 recipients from a nominated pool of 70+; and be recognized as one of The Peak's Emerging Leaders for Marketing & Advertising in 2025.
