About Sydney Rosser

I am a Biomedical Engineering graduate of the University of Southern California. In combining a rigorous academic experience with practical application of my biomedical engineering skills, I have exemplified my keen ability to examine the technical and practical challenges involved in the development of medical devices, collaborate on teams, and utilize analysis at an expert level. Recognized for designing and development expertise underpinned by critical thinking, I have a verifiable history of success as both a student and worker. Biomedical engineering focal points include Medical Electronics, nanomedicine and drug delivery, SolidWorks, MATLAB, Arduino, NI Multisim, and LabView.In addition to my Biomedical Engineering achievements, I also played an integral role in the engineering community of the University of Southern California as Vice President of Student Affairs and Ambassador for the USC Society of Women Engineers. In this role, I led a committee of students in the delivery of events to promote community integration and to embed a culture of inclusion amongst engineers. I also held responsibility for managing SWE’s mentorship program which enables underclassmen to receive guidance and foster connections with older peers. In addition, I liaised with faculty, members, and other student representative groups to ensure SWE’s engineering support structure is consistently meeting the needs of students.
