I am passionate about applying data analysis to solve complex, real-world problems, particularly within economic, social, retail, and legal contexts. Through my academic projects, I have developed strong analytical skills in R and Python, working on projects that include regression analysis, causal inference, and statistical modeling. For example, I collaborated on a project investigating housing market trends, using regression techniques to uncover the effects of housing characteristics on property values. In another project, I analyzed the impact of a school-based deworming program in Kenya, using econometric methods to evaluate policy effectiveness on health outcomes. My recent internship at Taylor | Anderson, LLP gave me valuable experience in seeing how data analysis informs legal and economic decisions. I observed firsthand how economic experts leverage data analytics to provide insights in litigation and consulting. This experience highlighted the practical applications of the data techniques I’ve developed and deepened my interest in using analytics to support evidence-based decision-making. I am eager to pursue roles in fields like economic and financial consulting, where I can apply my data analytics skills to address complex issues at the intersection of law, economics, and data.
