About Sydney Tinker

I am currently a junior Anthropology major, Criminal Justice and Italian minor, at TCU! My experience includes retail, health services, and education (tutoring). My co-workers have described me as light-hearted, ambitious, and funny! In the workforce though, I am known to be determined, driven, and very Type-A personality! My idea of stress relief is crossing things off my checklist. I love being good at what I do, so even if experience seems limited to me I will continue working until I get it right. I plan to specialize and further my education in bioarchaeology of complex societies (human and nonhuman animals) as it pertains to my future career. My research can be narrowed to two broad categories: human-human relationships, and human-animal relationships. With the human-human relationships, I'm specifically looking at how it relates to law and societal norms. I have aspirations of possibly being a part of forensics and public relations! With the human-animal relationships, I'm specializing in pathologies (science), archaeology (science), and animal intersubjectivity (humanities). I have hopes of deepening the relationships humans have with animals, and the science behind our combined cognitions.
