I am a Doctoral Candidate with the Department of Law and Legal Studies at Carleton University. My research explores how Gladue writers manage trauma as part of their work. I have extensive research into historical trauma. My research demonstrates the multi-generational physiological and psychological manifestations of trauma. In addition to my scholarly work, I am a contract instructor and I teach courses in theory, methodology, transitional justice, and the Gladue Requirements.
