There is no better job than being in the field working with customers who genuinely need and love your product! In my career I had the privilege and pleasure to hold scientific, sales and sales management positions in remarkable companies such as Beilstein (“Beilstein CrossFire”), SciTegic (“Pipeline Pilot”) and CDD (“CDD Vault”) and enjoying their journey from startup to grown successful companies. CDD is the company I am with since 2007 where my roles changed several times as the company grew. I held positions in sales, sales management and currently manage our partnerships, contracts and outbound sales teams, being part of CDD's leadership team I received my Ph.D. in Chemistry in Prof. Dr. Kaim’s lab (Goethe University Frankfurt/Germany), which – accidentally or not – also was a “startup” at the time. Dr. Kaim started his career in bioinorganic chemistry and in the hydrogen/energy domain in Frankfurt before moving to a chair position in U. Stuttgart and I had the privilege to be one of the first "Kaimlings".
