I enjoy being an integral part of a dynamic senior management team where all members are encouraged to contribute to the strategies of the firm. This enables me to use my extensive skills and experience to positively contribute to defining the direction of actions needed to meet the firm’s goals. The firm’s ongoing goals are often increasing sales, margins and/or profit growth, improving employee and customer satisfaction and retention. I thrive on being a part of and completing projects, such as a software implementations, process improvements, spin-offs, acquisitions or the sale of parts or all of the company. I am an advocate of process improvements and have always left a firm with processes, results and/or tools that are better than when I started there. My skills as a Business Partner / Consultant / CFO include: Assure that the accounting is accurate and the monthly financial results are timely. Assess risks and point out opportunities – forward looking. Confidence in banking, audit and government relationships. Financial results are communicated by myself and team in a fashion that is understandable to the BOD, Senior Management and employees. Act as an advisor and sounding board to CEO / President, as well as Senior Team members. Lead or guide budget and forecasting process and in the actual vs budget analyses. Serve as a role model for all peers and employees. Mentor to the finance organization. Represent the firm to all outside customers, suppliers, banks, audit and tax firms, and governments. Integral team player in M&A activities. Active in shaping the firm’s culture in the desired positive direction.
