Finding functional and aesthetically pleasing solutions to clients home environment dilemmas is something I find rewarding and stimulating. I believe in the home environment as a sanctuary from the stresses of life outside the home. A place of self expression & a statement of who we are to the friends, family & acquaintances we invite in. As a detail person, the background process in residential kitchen and bath design has an appeal to me. It's saturated with details. In these spaces we cram storage furniture & work-top space around highly engineered appliances, plumbing and lighting fixtures, tile, paint & everything else that goes into finishing rooms that some call "the heart of a home". As simple or complex as a client can dream they are necessary but can be so much more than just a functional space. After almost 17 years in the industry I still enjoy being caught-up in the process & feel the satisfaction of a clients vision made reality.
