My research interests primarily lie in the use of Modern Molecular Biology and Biotechnology tools to overcome the abiotic and biotic constraints of agriculture with the ultimate goal of increasing food security in face of changing climate. Currently, my focus is on the parasitic plant Striga, major biotic stress on food production in Sub-Saharan Africa.
