About Sylvie Jensen

I am incredibly grateful to have had the honour of supporting individuals and families during one of life’s most difficult times. Now serving as Executive Director at Crossroads Hospice Society, I bring with me the experience and insight gained from my years as a Volunteer Coordinator, Hospice Manager and Interim Executive Director. I’m proud to continue building on the strong foundation and solid leadership that have guided us thus far. Since 2016, I’ve worked alongside a compassionate team of staff, volunteers, and Fraser Health partners to ensure that our support is person-centered and grounded in dignity and compassion. I’m passionate about creating environments where people feel welcome and supported, whether it’s a patient, family member, or volunteer. With a background in hospice operations, program management, and regulatory compliance, I’ve led through times of calm and crisis. During the COVID-19 pandemic, our small society staff adapted daily, remained outbreak-free for over a year, and continued to provide compassionate support with resilience and strength. Our mission gives deep purpose to my work. I’m committed to ensuring Crossroads continues to be a place of compassion, integrity, and heart.
