About Sylvie Studente

Sylvie’s background is in Human Computer Interaction, E-Learning and Systems Design. She is an active researcher in the area of Education. She completed a BA (Hons) in Business Information Systems (1st class) and an MSc in Business Computing (distinction) at the University of Northampton. She obtained her PhD from the Knowledge Media Institute at The Open University in the area of Human Computer Interaction. She also holds a Pg Cert in Higher Education, a Pg Cert in Research Degree Supervision and a Pg Diploma in Online and Distance Education. Sylvie is a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy and is currently studying part-time towards a Professional Doctorate in Education via the Institute of Educational Technology (Open University) She currently leads modules in UX Design, Web And App Design, and Project Management. She is also the Course Leader for the MA User Experience Design programme at Regent’s University London and a PhD Supervisor for the University of Northampton. As well as her academic duties she is a recording artist with rock band Liliths Army who are signed to West London independent label Criminal Records.
