Thank you for visiting my profile! II've always had a deep passion for small businesses from an early age. After seven years of working in the Canadian film industry at the National Film Board of Canada, I took the leap and started my first business. Since then, I've been involved in various exciting projects. One of the most significant milestones was when I played a pivotal role in developing software for law enforcement. This innovation led to the company going public on Nasdaq in 2002, and our product was featured on America's Most Wanted. John Walsh later served on our Board of Directors. Our software was crucial in locating some of the "Most Wanted" individuals in the United States. Serving as the Executive Vice-President of a Nasdaq company was a unique experience. Following my corporate journey, I co-founded Dreamkeeper Films alongside my late husband, Dan Traub, where I served as an executive producer for three historical documentary features. Later, I shift my focus toward assisting small business owners. My commitment to helping others led me to delve into studies in accounting, empowering me to offer invaluable assistance. Combining my extensive experience in business with finance and accounting, I established Traub Tax & Business Solutions in 2010, which later evolved into SMA Accounting & Business Solutions in 2019. In 2020, I sought to further expand my expertise by obtaining certification with the Zig Ziglar Corporation for the "Choose to Win" program. Integrating this program into my coaching, I guide my clients to unlock their full potential, achieve success faster, and easily navigate common challenges. Throughout the years, I've been a guest speaker at the Sid Craig Business School of Fresno State and participated in various economic events, including sharing the stage with Ben Stein during an economic panel discussion. These experiences have solidified my commitment to positively impacting small business owners' lives, empowering them to grow their ventures and realize their fullest potential. Every day, I strive to achieve this noble goal with my clients. During my career, I also assumed the responsibility of leading fundraising initiatives. As the driving force behind successful fundraising campaigns, I secured essential resources to support and advance various projects. This role amplified my commitment to fostering small businesses and honed my abilities in strategic financial planning and relationship building. On a personal note, I hold dual citizenship—Canadian and American—and in my free time, I love writing."
