About Symone Donnay

Hello! I'm Symone Donnay, a graduate student at the University of Scranton pursuing my Master's in Clinical Rehabilitation Counseling, with a special focus on supporting military members facing mental health, addiction, financial, and career challenges. In my current role as a case manager at an outpatient methadone clinic, I coordinate care with healthcare providers and community resources to connect clients to mental health services, substance use recovery programs, financial education, and employment support. Alongside this, I intern at Joy World Wealth Partners, where I design and lead community engagement events, workshops, and financial literacy initiatives to empower individuals and families toward stability and long-term growth. Earlier, I earned my B.S. in Psychology with minors in Creative Writing and Africana Studies from the University of Pittsburgh, and currently serve as a Panther’s Forward Mentor, guiding new graduates toward academic and career success. Through my roles, I blend counseling knowledge with community advocacy and program development. My approach is deeply rooted in holistic, client-centered care, integrating mental wellness, financial resilience, and vocational guidance. I'm dedicated to empowering underserved populations—particularly veterans and youth—and committed to building networks and partnerships that foster positive change.
