Synarus is an accomplished, results-oriented professional with extensive experience in creating and managing compliance and risk management programs across a diverse array of disciplines. He has served as federal liaison to the Department of Justice and compliance coordinator for Hinds County’s adult and juvenile detention systems for five years. While in this role his responsibilities included assessing and evaluating Hinds County’s criminal justice system and developing strategies, policies and procedures designed to enhance the system’s performance. His capacity to perform these task have been honed through more than twenty years of studying and working in and around the criminal justice system on the city, county, state and federal levels of government. Synarus posses a background and expertise in helping others learn complex areas of subject matter content and principles of operations and philosophies surrounding best practices. He is skilled in matters related to problem solving strategies that align with federal laws and regulations of organizations such as FEMA, Department of Homeland Security, and the Department of Justice; skills he is well equipped to teach others.
