About T. Alex Moore

As an Exam Proctor at Acadia University, I ensure the integrity and quality of the academic testing process for various courses and programs. I have a Master of Science degree in Applied Geomatics, which combines the fields of geography, cartography, and remote sensing. I am passionate about applying geospatial technologies and data analysis to solve real-world problems and create innovative solutions. With over two years of experience in GIS and Remote Sensing, I have developed proficiency in using ESRI software and app development tools, as well as conducting geomatics research and projects. I have also earned multiple certifications and awards related to GIS, tourism, and photography, demonstrating my versatility and creativity. I am always eager to learn new skills and take on new challenges in the geospatial industry. I am open to relocating within Canada or abroad, as I have done in the past. Outside of work and school, I enjoy photography, video editing, bird watching, hiking, fishing, playing pickleball, and playing celtic music. I value every scenario in life as a learning and teaching opportunity, and I believe a positive outlook can make all the difference.
