A humble and down to earth humanitarian and development professional. A specialist in the field of Food Security and Livelihoods and broader knowledge and experience in the development and implementation of integrated projects; with components of WASH, DRR, Protection, health, Education, Shelter and Environmental protection. I have good understanding of the humanitarian legal frameworks including the sphere standards, the humanitarian accountability partnership (HAP) standards and of the 9 core humanitarian standards. Experience in the management and coordination of field programs and operations, providing strategic direction for field activities and program portfolio. Development of Country level program strategy and support in the development and implementation of organizational policies. Experience in providing overall leadership for field operations; administration, warehouse and logistics, finance, Human Resource, and Security management. Experience working with the following donors;(DEVCO/EU, OFDA, SIDA, NMFA, NORAD, DFID, and BMZ through GIZ and Global Affairs Canada. Experience working with in partnership with UN Agencies such as FAO, WFP, UNOPS and UNHCR.
