Background
About Tabassum Mahmud
I am currently pursuing my PhD in Computer Engineering at ISU, where I have been involved in multiple research projects and publications. I am passionate about advancing the field of storage systems and system reliability by improving the system. The purpose of my research is to improve the system by making it more reliable and also by improving its performance. I have worked on identifying and mitigating vulnerabilities caused by application configurations in the storage stack, such as the file systems, the utility programs etc. I used static analysis techniques to detect and prevent potential data loss, corruption and other reliability issues. My current research focuses on improving the system performance by reducing the write amplification.
