About Taber Haislip

A dynamic, fast learning educated professional with an extensive background in the hospitality industry, amongst numerous other skill sets. Born and raised in Atlanta, GA, a 2012 graduate of Parkview Highschool in Gwinnett County, Taber Haislip started his career in hospitality and customer service with Starbucks Coffee Company in 2012 as a Barista. He quickly moved into a Management position and worked for the coffee mega-chain for 5+ years. Upon leaving Starbucks, Taber plunged further into the restaurant world, leaning toward locally owned and revered establishments such as Little's Food Store in Cabbagetown, Corner Tavern in Little 5 Points, K-Paul's Louisiana Kitchen in New Orleans, and the Ponce De Leon Atlanta staple, The Local ( est. in 1998 and voted best wings in Atlanta). Taber has worked as a Line Cook, Prep Cook, Busser, Server, and is currently a Manager and Bartender at the famous Decatur, GA Music Venue Eddie's Attic. Taber also has a background in Technical Theatre as a Lighting Technician with 7 Stages Theatre in Little 5 Points, as well as receiving a Certificate of Program Completion for Coding Bootcamp in Full Stack Flex Web Development at the Georgia Institute of Technology. In his spare time, Taber enjoys creating Art, Music, and is a Small-Engine Mechanic focused on early '70s-1990s two-stroke engine Mopeds.
