About Tabitha Barnes

I have most recently found myself enjoying the detailed, fast paced, and precise world of quality control and quality assurance. I get the chance to wake up each day and put my skill for attention to detail to use! This is, however, after being able to work myself up from the bottom rung not once but twice for the same owner. My journey working for the Keselowski family began in 2015 with taking on the responsibility of cleaning the entire Brad Keselowski Racing facility and sadly ended with me traveling to the races as a suspension mechanic when the race team decided to close its doors in 2017. The close of this truck level race shop resulted in an amazing opportunity to go work with Xfinity and Cup race teams at Penske racing in 2018 where I got to experience something that most people spend their whole lives chasing, a Cup Championship win! I got to learn so many new skills and sharpen my mechanical abilities in the two years that I worked there. Unfortunately, COVID hit the racing industry very hard and my job was one of the casualties. That being said, it opened up the chance for me to go back and work for the name that I received my first chance in racing from so I couldn't say no. I walked in the door at Keselowski Advanced Manufacturing as a shipping and receiving clerk and have pushed hard and worked my way through quality assurance assistant up to the quality technician role. I have since moved on to work for MSI-Viking where I get to learn a whole new set of skills as a calibration technician. I am learning new skills and improving my efficiency each and every day.
