About Tabitha Campos

As someone with a lifetime love for science and research, I thrive on using a variety of skills and knowledge of Microbiology to deliver highly efficient scientific experiments within a laboratory setting, as well as to work seamlessly with different teams and assist in research projects within the healthcare industry. In December of 2020, I graduated from Texas Tech University with a Bachelor's Degree in Microbiology, where I developed a great passion for preparing and maintaining bacteriological media as well as completing successful scientific projects. After graduating, I had the opportunity to flawlessly perform all assigned clerical and technical duties in a lab setting at QualTex Laboratories as a Laboratory Technologist. Throughout my time here, I gained hands-on experience in providing independent immunodiagnostic testing of COVID-19 antibodies in blood serum (SARS-CoV-2 Antigen Test) by simultaneously operating two machines, processing 1,300 samples per shift, and providing a daily shift report on the number of tested samples and detailing any particular shift problems. In addition, I am an expert in lab equipment operations, such as maintaining a sterile environment and obtaining supplies, which indicates my attention to detail and my safe and hygienic working style. I have also been acknowledged as a proactive and ambitious professional who can discover, communicate, and fix any problem that arises, no matter how minor. Despite the fact that I am still in the early stages of my career, I am certain of where I stand and my biggest career aspiration is to be a part of an organization that makes a difference in people's lives.
