About Tadjiro Velzel

I am a driven Dutch student who works on the intersection of electronics and connectivity. I graduated high school at 16 from the Stedelijk Gymnasium Arnhem. During my high school years I traveled to Amsterdam frequently to attend the Junior Jazz College at the Conservatory of Amsterdam. In 2016 I won a first prize at the Prinses Christina Jazz Concours and later moved to New York to pursue performing arts at The New School. During my studies I spent my free time educating myself on engineering and other technical skills. At the start of my sophomore year at The New School I started working at Roberto's Winds where I worked a combined position of sales, graphic design, content creation and inventory management. After two years in New York, I moved to The Hague to study electrical engineering at the TU Delft. Since the start of my electrical engineering studies I have focused on the combination of electronics and connectivity. I spend my time expanding my toolbox, allowing me to more effectively design anything from microelectronics to full stack applications. My main goal at the makerspace in the science centre is to combine the electrical systems with a robust connective system, allowing students to closely monitor their work and making it easier for the staff to make targeted adjustments. The science centre's PWS team offers a great environment to help students blossom their academic career by aiding them in researching, designing and writing their first academic project. It offers a foundation for me to develop educational material such as python workshops and solar panel experiments. Since the September 2023 I have been enrolled in the TU Delft's BsC Clinical Technology. I am always open to pursue challenges that lie at the crossroads between the medical, electrical and computational fields.
