About Taeya Dukes

Hi, I’m Taeya As a passionate Product Designer @ Specno, I believe in building meaningful designs that TELL A STORY. Every interaction, every experience and every detail should feel intentional, guiding users through something that’s not just functional but memorable and meaningful. I approach design with a story-first problem solving mindset. My design background spans UX/UI, branding, animation, photography and editorial. I was a finalist in the Loeries 2023 Awards for 2 categories: Editorial Design and Short Film. I am passionate about typographic design and in 2023, I was awarded a Pass from the ISTD (International Society of Typographic Designers), which deeply shaped my approach to visual communication and narrative design. What do I believe is the most important part of the design process? Context! The deeper the research, the better the solution. Understanding users, their needs, and the problem at hand allows us to create intuitive, validated design solutions that truly resonate. What drives me? Beyond design, I find my inspiration in nature - it constantly surprises me, fuels my creativity, and keeps me curious. I thrive in moments of discomfort because I know that’s where the most growth happens. I'm always eager to learn, push boundaries, and craft innovative solutions that make an impact. We’re here to tell great tale’s, let’s connect and create something meaningful!
