Over 20 years experience in Accounting and Finance gained from four years at Deloitte, a Big Four Audit Firm, and 16 years in Rio Tinto, an ASX and LSE listed mining business. I lead accounting functions to improve the business while partnering relationships with non-finance stakeholders by providing accurate and reliable budgets and forecast data, interpreting monthly results with a focus on risks and opportunities to business performance. I have a strong technical accounting experience with the ability to interpret accounting complexities and provide concise, understandable and commercially-focused accounting outcomes when applying accounting standards. I have experience in statutory reporting, monthly board reporting, complex system implementations to drive efficiency, and streamlining of business processes to achieve real monetary savings. I have led small teams as well as large teams - shown agility in the face of change and adversity, and ensured teams remain resilient, efficient and achieve targets when facing difficult changes or uncertainty.
