As a Doctoral Researcher, Taha Loghmani's research investigates the utilization of enhanced participation techniques to design and implement transdisciplinary research, coupling Citizen Science and Nature-Based Solutions (CS-NBS). The CS-NBS project aims to transform participation within decentralized Agri-Food and WASH systems' towards increased sustainability and resilience. Taha is a joint Doctoral Researcher at United Nations University-FLORES and Technische Universität Dresden. For his PhD, Taha collaborates extensively with the International Institute for Applied Systems Analysis (IIASA) in Austria. He holds a master’s degree in Hydro Science and Engineering from TU Dresden, where he analyzed the role of policy coherence in the emergence of groundwater-related subsidence phenomena. Previously, Taha obtained a civil engineering degree from Iran, enabling him to cover a broad spectrum of engineering, natural, and political sciences. Besides experience in civil engineering, he has also gained academic expertise as a research assistant and consultant for UNU-FLORES covering subjects such as Citizen Science, Governance of Wicked problems, Policy mixes, and Sustainability in the Textile Industry.
