About Tahsinur Rahim

I'm a university student pursuing a bachelor's of science degree in Mechanical Engineering at Worcester Polytechnic Institute. Gaining knowledge and skills to be an engineer fit for the developing world. I'm enthusiastic about what the future brings and want to contribute to a technological and sustainable future, especially in areas such as transportation, technology, energy and the built environment. I am also an alumni of the United World College (UWC), a prestigious two-year boarding school that spans across 18 different campuses, and is made up of a diverse set of students that come from over 150 countries. I had the pleasure of attending UWC-USA, and it has shaped me to want to learn, earn and return to the world, for peace and a sustainable future. Outside of the classroom, I am involved as a mechanical engineer for the high power rocketry club, and as a senator for the student government association. In my spare time, I'm enthusiastic about football (soccer), music, movies, video games and plane-spotting. Currently pursuing internship opportunities to deepen my knowledge, skills, and to network with professionals. Feel free to connect!
