About Taisha Fabre

I am currently in my final year of studying a bachelor of clinical exercise physiology at Griffith University on the Gold Coast. I have always loved sport and loved helping people improve and understand how to perform better in their chosen sport. I am currently 22 years old and have participated in sports such as soccer, AFL, hockey, basketball, touch football, tennis and am currently playing competitive netball. A passion of mine is working with a professional sporting team as an exercise scientist and along with the other staff, helping the athletes and players perform at their peak. Another area of interest is to work with injured athletes in a rehabilitation clinic assisting players to get back to their passion of player sport. Having competed in many sporting events myself, including going to states for track, I have seen many injuries occur that would require specific rehabilitation. Being able to help these athletes regain their strength and allow them to continue doing what they love would be such an interesting and fulfilling job that I believe my skillset and qualities would be very well suited for. My greatest strengths are that I am able to communicate with people very well due to my 2 years of restaurant managing giving me a vital skill that can be used in many areas if not all areas of work. I am also a very dedicated and hardworking employee and student that commits to completing everything I set out to do.
