About Taiyo Ueda

An international college undergraduate majoring in International Economics looking for potential full/part-time internships in economics/finance/consulting/research/analyzing field. Through my international experience, I have acquired the ability to adapt, communicate, problem-solve, and provide unique analysis in a culturally diverse environment. I have also represented Japan in an international baseball tournament, which provided me with an experience of finding commonalities beyond cultural disparities around the world. Within the team, I have been in a position to provide an objective perspective that emphasizes mission accomplishment and teamwork to achieve goals. This experience has given me the habit of looking at things from outside the box. With my affluence of overseas experience and bilingual skills, I can also bring a native perspective to cross-cultural communication situations. Throughout my academic pursuit in economics, I have acquired practical skills in statistics and creating theoretical models. With these skills, I hope to build a career around my belief in creating values for society through my unique experiences of challenging diverse environments.
