Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Human Performance with a concentration in Sports Medicine and a Chemistry minor at Howard University, my academic journey is complemented by a range of experiences showcasing versatility and dedication. Serving as a Lab Research Assistant in the Department of Biology, I actively contribute to scientific investigations and gain valuable hands-on expertise in laboratory techniques. All while working under the mentorship of Dr. Somiranjan Ghosh, a respected Principal Investigator, as my understanding of research methodologies is deepening. In my professional roles, I've provided exceptional customer service at Trader Joe's, curated vibrant recreational experiences as a Kraken Kourts Ambassador, and handled various responsibilities, including hostessing and food packaging, at Maggiano's Little Italy. These diverse roles highlighted my adaptability and commitment to excellence. Academically, I've earned over in scholarships and consistently achieved high honors, demonstrating a strong commitment to academic excellence. Beyond the academic sphere, my involvement in organizations such as Revolt Inc, Onyx Mental Health Family, and Howard Women’s Rugby reflects my engagement in initiatives promoting diversity and inclusion. My passion for increasing representation in obstetrics and gynecology (OB/GYN) is a driving force in my journey. Aspiring to be an OB/GYN, I am actively working towards this goal by merging my academic knowledge, diverse skill sets, and passion for women's healthcare. Through active participation in organizations advocating for diversity, I aim to contribute to a more inclusive future in the field of OB/GYN.
