About Taku Yuan

I am currently completing my coursework at MSU and plan to graduate with a marketing degree in December 2022. In the meantime, I intend to improve my English and Chinese communication skills to become a greater asset to the Japanese community. I also hope to help the company I work for become a place where people are culturally competent and globally knowledgeable. SKILLS Leadership Experience: High skill in leadership and management Tutoring: High skill in teaching International and Domestic success Communication: High skills in the ability to communicate across various cultural borders and languages Technical Skill: High skills in marketing research and understanding depth of blockchain management. High computer skills in Microsoft applications and intermediate levels in coding I began learning English and moved to the United States for college, where I learned the importance of communication skills. After developing my English communication skills, I decided to pursue a degree in Marketing and Advertising. I would like to use this marketing degree and my high communication skills to work for a company that promotes ethical research and morally responsible advertising, which I feel is lacking in today's marketers. I would like to use my skills to help companies successfully promote their products in a way that makes sense and reduces stereotyping, especially when it comes to marketing products to different cultures. At my university, I have two jobs: student administrator and Japanese language instructor. These jobs have strengthened my English skills and helped me bridge different languages with others. While in college, I worked hard on many advertising and marketing projects and participated in on-campus advertising activities. Recently, I became a member of Missouri State University's Global Leaders and Mentors program, where I manage prospective study abroad students, facilitate communication and PR at the university with them, and serve as the first point of contact from the university. I struggled just like them when I first came to the U.S, so I find it especially rewarding to return the favor I have received to international students who are now struggling.
