About Taleb Hassan

Taleb is a consulting actuary based in WTW's Melbourne office. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries of Australia (FIAA). Taleb’s experience is broad and includes valuations for complex defined benefit superannuation funds for both regulatory and accounting purposes, group insurance technical pricing and product design, tender management, valuation of share-based employee remuneration schemes, actuarial due diligence in M&A transactions, regulatory reporting and strategic advice for superannuation funds. Taleb has been involved in providing actuarial consulting services to some of Australia’s largest defined benefit and accumulation funds and a variety of superannuation trustees and corporations. He is responsible for project management and technical review across various client teams. Taleb is a core member of WTW’s Group Insurance Solutions team, and has extensive experience in conducting pricing and product reviews and group insurance tender management. He is also a member of the HR due diligence team, advising multi-nationals on mergers and acquisitions. His expertise includes the review of pay, superannuation and leave entitlements; and providing guidance on benefit strategy, program harmonisation, de-risking and corporate governance.
