Background
About Talei Richards
I am a highly skilled lawyer with substantial experience in executive and advisory leadership in the community, international development and Government sectors. I specialise in public policy, strategic planning, project management, stakeholder engagement, outcomes & evaluation design and ethical financial management practices. I am an excellent public speaker, moderator and facilitator with a focus on social justice, equality, Indigenous rights and community led solutions. I am a Mother and proud Fijian/Pasifika woman who is committed to my family, the Pasifika/Oceanic diaspora across the region and elevating the intersectional voices of diverse communities through a human rights lens. I acknowledge the traditional owners of the Aboriginal land that we occupy as uninvited guests. I acknowledge that I benefit from sacrifices forced on Aboriginal people throughout history and today. I am committed to learning more by listening to Indigenous stories. Always was always will be Aboriginal land.
