Hello, I am Talia Qaiser, a current PhD Candidate at KU Leuven in the field of Energy and Data Science. A former Master's student in Public Policy and Management - Data Analytics at Carnegie Mellon University. With a strong background in Management Sciences from Lahore University of Management Sciences, I am well-equipped to handle complex business problems with data-driven solutions. I have secured a prestigious Fulbright Scholarship and throughout my academic journey, completed various courses in machine learning, exploratory data analysis, and product management. I have also developed my technical skills in Python, SQL, R, and Microsoft Office, along with proficiency in libraries such as Pandas, Scikit-learn, and Matplotlib. As a former Product Manager at Pursue Today, a Dallas-based startup, I led the development of Pribox, an email marketing tool that increased the domain reputation and resulted in a successful launch with 20 recurring customers in the first month. I also contributed to increasing the overall revenue by 40%, and improved the development process through sprint planning using JIRA, which resulted in a 70% increase in the team's efficiency. Additionally, I have experience working as a Product Consultant at Farmdar, an agri-tech startup. Collaborating with project managers, developers, marketing and sales teams, and data scientists, I contributed to developing a high-priority product roadmap. I also optimized decision-making and strategic policy-making, resulting in improved product development practices.
