About Talitha Tolles

Talitha Tolles (she/they) is of mixed ancestry. On her maternal side, she descends from the Vasseur-Longlade family line of Drummond Island Voyageurs, and on her paternal side, from the McIvor family line of Manitoulin Island, Tyendinaga, and Scotland. She is a facilitator, storyteller, and artist, as well as a very proud auntie. Talitha’s life and work are rooted in community, weaving together creativity, care, and justice. Guided by her lived experience, she brings people together through story, art, and dialogue, always with a deep commitment to fostering connection, healing, and meaningful change. Over a decade ago, Talitha embarked on a path as a community facilitator, dedicating her time to working with Indigenous youth. Throughout her career, she has collaborated with over people, encouraging active citizenship and supporting Indigenous populations in Canada. Her work has led her to discover a love for program development, community organizing, action planning, and leadership development. Bringing people together and igniting their passion for change is what brings joy to Talitha's heart. She excels at assisting individuals in building meaningful relationships with social justice and anti-oppressive frameworks. Her approach is rooted in experiential, community-based methods that prioritize taking action.
