About Tamahn Jamison

I have spent my career as an engaged leader who functions as my team's learning, training, coaching, and development consultant. The foundations of my leadership style include:* An ADDIE style of training which focuses on catering the individual's and group's learning styles to maximize performance.* I am a huge supporter of cross training and job rotation (where applicable).* As a seasoned Sales Manager, I have the opportunity to personally evaluate the effects of my training on staff and to continually coach in order to increase team productivity in the areas of units sold, gross profit, and CSI.* I prefer to utilize a critical incidents style of performance evaluation combined with 360-degree feedback along with pre- and post-training observation.* Career development is at the core of my personal leadership values. As part of my succession planning strategies, I am directly responsible for developing two (2) managers during each stop of my career by individually counseling them on how to grow their careers.* My performance appraisal method preference is to utilize my specifically designed monthly Management by Objectives form to hold employees accountable of mutually identified SMART performance goals involving critical elements.* My leadership results in an above average level of employee retention and loyalty. I am in the process of switching careers and am therefore currently exploring Human Resources opportunities with a socially conscious organization that will allow my vast leadership experience to be deployed.
