After many years working in the IT world, I decided to switch gears and follow my passion, which is real estate and helping people and haven’t looked back. I started this journey in 2004 where I worked for a boutique real estate firm selling residential resale and new construction site sales when the market was hot. Unfortunately, when the market shifted in 2008, I found myself hopping from builder to brokerage trying to find a place to call home and it was hard. A good friend of mine kept telling me about Redfin and I thought “why not check it out”. From the minute I walked into the Redfin office, it was a game changer. I was truly wowed by the company’s values and I remember telling myself this is the company for me. Redfin’s mission has redefined real estate helping thousands of customers buy and sell homes while being transparent and a true advocate for our clients. Other brokers often ask me the following; How do I get paid and where do you get customer leads”? We are salaried employees, paid expenses, no marketing costs with paid health benefits for ourselves and families. We are paid for customer appointments and receive bonuses tied to our customer satisfaction. Our awesome website brings new customers to our site daily and we have more than enough clients to close an average of 2-3 homes per month (3-4 times higher than what the average traditional real estate agent sells). At Redfin as a Real Estate Professional, we do things a bit different. We get to literally talk buyers out buying homes if it is not the right home for them, no pressure sales tactic or assumptive closing statements.we just want to find the RIGHT HOME for our customers. Our number one goal is to help our clients through technology, tons of experience, work in teams and offer the latest tips, tricks, and strategies that work.
