About Tamala Geiger

I’m an experienced instructional leader with 20+ years in K–12 and higher education, with a focus on improving literacy instruction and equitable outcomes for students. I specialize in coaching (ELA) and mentoring (pedagogy) teachers and school leaders, developing high-impact professional learning, and designing cohesive, research-aligned programs. I’m a certified evaluator using the Danielson Framework and have led instructional improvement initiatives across multiple states, helping educators at all levels strengthen practice and student performance. My work is rooted in collaboration, data-informed decisions, and a deep belief in the power of equitable, rigorous curriculum. Whether developing PD, mentoring educators, or designing tools to support implementation, I’m driven by the goal of increasing access to excellent instruction. I’m excited about opportunities where I can support schools and systems in scaling high-quality instructional materials and ensuring every student thrives.
