Open to Work** Multidisciplinary professional seeking to build a career in: 1) Investing in, supporting, and building ventures and solutions that make the world a better place, with a specific passion for Sustainability Technology 2) Supporting change management, innovation, and foresight in large transitioning companies 3) Supporting decision-makers in creating conditions conducive to technology-driven sustainable development. 4) Leveraging technical and computational skills to extract insights through research and data analysis I currently work as an Innovation Consultant at CANAR Holdings Group where I advise on the integration of emerging technologies across their Energy, Utilities, Construction, Infrastructure, and O&G verticals, as well as transformative new verticals/spinoffs in Smart Cities, Mobility and more. Currently supporting innovation management strategy development, scouting of new technologies/partners, executing strategic foresight activities, commercialization of technology solutions of international tech companies breaking into the Kuwaiti market, viability assessment of new potential joint ventures and investments, and advising on new product development activities for spinoffs. I previously worked at the Kuwait Foundation for the Advancement of Science in their Research Directorate, with experience advising on funding decisions, spearheading program management, process innovation, and capacity building activities, contributing to strategy development and impact analysis, and supporting high-profile committees level developing national projects to support Kuwait's innovation ecosystem. I have a Masters in Civil & Environmental Engineering and Bachelors in Chemical Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University, with a strong background in Sustainability Studies, Technology & Analytics (+ML), as well as Design Thinking, Innovation, and Foresight. I've facilitated workshops on Sustainability, Inclusivity & Equity at the AASHE conference and published research with the IJCAI Humanizing AI Workshop. It took me a while to figure out the common denominator in all my interests: succeeding and collaborating under difficult constraints - social, economic, technological or environmental - and amplifying the ability of offers to do the same. I am a detail-oriented, and self-starting systems-thinker who enjoys pattern finding in seeming chaos, and creatively merging practical applications with innovative research. I believe that the most impactful work comes from a lens of fearless compassion and courage.
