About Tamara Crampton

I have been living in the south of France since October 2020, relocating with my husband and two children. Most of my professional working life was spent in the finance industry, initially in London in a junior investment role for a global derivatives team at Royal Bank of Canada, then later in the FX Options middle office at JP Morgan. In between, I worked for 4 years in the yachting industry as a deckhand.A move to Bristol in 2009 led me to a role at Lloyds Banking Group in the investment operations team for the DB and DC pension schemes.In 2016, with a young family, and looking to add greater flexibility to my work life, I began working for my husband's growing building and renovation company, managing the business administration. During this time I gained a BTEC Level 5 Diploma in Soft Tissue Therapy, and set up my own clinic. After the BREXIT vote we decided to move to France, eventually doing so in 2020, and so retaining our EU rights to live and work here under the Withdrawal Agreement. I am currently working as a freelance business English tutor, and improving my French so I can use my skills in a professional capacity, and develop our new life here.
