About Tamara Davis

Over the course of her twenty- two year career. Tamara Davis has worked with over 270 health and social service programs throughout New Jersey across 21 counties serving children and families living with a mental illness, intellectual disability and/or addiction; most recently individuals exiting the criminal justice system. Tamara is a seasoned executive-level professional and proven effective leader who has worked on various levels of program operations and administration. Tamara is the Corporate Compliance Officer & Quality Assurance Director for Volunteers of America Delaware Valley. Tamara is also recognized by Volunteers of America as a comissioned minister as VOADV is a church without walls and a ministry of service. Tamara supervises and oversees the Licensing and Accreditation, conducts investigations of Corporate Compliance concerns along with the monitoring of all incidents and the organizations Performance Improvement initiatives. Tamara has been the project manager for three successfull American Correction Association (ACA) accreditations at 100% compliance, four successfull Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) and four successfull Prison Rape Elimination Act (PREA) audits as the PREA coordinator. Tamara previously was with Oaks Integrated Care for eighteen (18) years. Tamara started as a Job Coach and was promoted numerous times over the years speaking to her dedication and continuos professional development. Tamara attended Holy Family University where she received a Masters in Science of Counseling Psychology. Tamara under the direction of a clinical supervisor as a Masters - level Intern counseled individuals, children and families. Tamara also worked with young adults in transition who were living with co-ocurring disorders. Tamara's focus on improving services led her to transition into the role of a Facility Analyst where she supported programs with Licensing and Accreditation. Tamara became The Quality Assurance Supervisor and Ombudsperson. Tamara supervised the Corporate Compliance team for a large organization. Tamara has a collaborative leadership style that motivates teams. teams.Tamara has recieved acknowegements over the years such as Employee Of The Year and Month, along with other awards.
