About Tamara Koch
I am currently a junior undergraduate student at Clemson University studying for my Bachelors of Science in Genetics. I am also pursuing a minor in both Psychology and in the French language. I am in my second year as the President of the Clemson Academic Team. This is also my first year as the Vice President of the Biochemistry and Genetics Club at Clemson University. In my spare time, I am an undergraduate researcher in a biophysics lab under the guidance of Dr. Joshua Alper, as well as a Student Ambassador in the College of Science. After I graduate, I plan to go to graduate school to receive my PhD in Genetics. I then plan on pursuing a career studying the underlying genetic components of inherited mental disorders and other disease pathologies.
