About Tamara Mattison
We often start on the journey thinking we would like to explore a particular path, and then life sometimes takes us on detours and down different roads you would not have imagined. My studies began in health care, I explored IT, and I currently work in the government sector. Who am I? My name is Tamara, and I am a Program Analyst with several years of experience in auditing, quality assurance, software testing, test planning, technical/client support, research/troubleshooting, Learning Management Systems (LMS), escalation processes, and medical billing/coding. Beyond that, I have demonstrated excellent customer service skills, being a team player, self-starter, organized, detail-oriented, and solutions-driven in my various roles. In my current role, I get to serve behind the scenes with a program that aims to assist Service members in seamlessly transitioning back into civilian life. I also worked diligently in the background on another project that focused on Veterans moving seamlessly through the claims process for benefits. I earned my Associate of Applied Science at Lincoln College of Technology and completed an accelerated Quality Assurance program through Step It Up America in February 2016. I am currently pursuing a B.A. in Business Administration at National Louis University. I have a working knowledge of Windows Operating Systems, Microsoft Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Outlook), and E-Learning/Authoring Tools such as Articulate. I am experienced with CRM applications such as Siebel, Fogbugz, Salesforce, and ServiceNow and defect tracking tools such as Bugzilla and Application Lifecycle Management (ALM). I have worked with other proprietary applications that were beneficial and needed for the specific scope of work. Ultimately my goal is to continue seeking career advancement and to secure a professionally rewarding position with a reputable organization. I seek a role that will allow professional growth and advancement based on my demonstrated strengths.
