I have over 20 years’ experience writing and editing for businesses and as a freelancer. My professional background includes solid experience in business communications, sales and marketing. I was previously employed in a marketing/public relations office where I researched and wrote newsletter articles, press releases and brochure copy. My recent published writing credits include magazine and newspaper articles, a travel book and travel articles, press releases, marketing copy, product reviews, website content and blog posts. I use a blog and social media to promote my own business. My education includes university-level writing courses and completion of a specialized program focused on writing magazine articles. In addition, I have extensive work experience in the hospitality and tourism industry, as well as experience in office administration and project management. I seek opportunities to use my creative talents in writing, editing, and photography, and am also available for part-time or contract work that utilizes my expertise in business.
